Just a friendly word I was asked to relay from some members of the local kite crew this weekend.
When kiting or actually "Standing" at the Event Site, it is important that all kiters are actively helping each other to launch safely and to land safely.
Always offer to help launch a person who asks you, or is standing on the grass with a blank stare and a bar in their hand
When a kiter is approaching the beach, always check to see if there is someone actively focusing on this person's kite to catch it. if no one is doing this, then you should take the initiative and do so yourself.
*Side note - yes, this can get repetitive and sometimes you end up as the kite bitch, stuck launching or landing a bunch of kites in a row, but you know what, you are a HERO if you do this, so thank you!! _________________ Pure Stoke Sports
