Remember like 8 years ago we jammed to manzo to kite. . .
Could have been shipwreck, memory a little fuzzy |
It probably went down like this. Signs of N/NW wind, you head down to the shipwreck with your posse too early (arrive like 11 am). Waited for a few hours to see if the wind came up at lot b; it didn't. You had been jones'in for time on the water and you now have even less hair on your balding scalp from stressing on it if you had made the right decision on where to ride that day. You couldn't wait any longer and say "f*ck it" after the 1pm sensor reading and you jam on down to Manzo for the more on-shore, stronger winds, less quality waves etc etc. Sure you had a great time at Manzo, but the wind came up at Lot B at 3:30; you all get on the water a 1/2 hour earlier than you would of at lot b.
Been there done that. It's almost always a tough call.
Great to have you back PDXMB! Hope you to see you on the water soon. |
