Mon Jan 01, 18 10:41 am Anyone been kiting Stevenson on these easterlies? |

I just got back from La Ventana, and I guess I should have stayed there another month or two, but I had to go back to work.
It looks like there's been rideable easterlies at Stevenson though. Has anyone been on it? I'd be interested in getting some cold-weather days in if it's doable, but I don't want to kite there in 40 degree water by myself. Who's been out there this winter so far? |

Been watching the nukin winds for a month and no one has been out. Saw someone put a few weeks ago foiling out of Viento. Highs of 3 have not been condusive for kiting !! Don’t drop in the water because you will not make it to shore with a functioning mind or body!! _________________ Take a breath; inhale Last edited by Justsmile on Tue Jan 02, 18 4:41 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Copied from the NW Windsurf group:
"Stevenson Monday 1 Jan 2018
Perfect Sailworks 4.2m Hucker, 78L, 25cm conditions. Sunny and air temps close to 40 degrees F. Mark H. rigged 3.7 and 4.2m and also small glass board. A few other windsurfers and kiters and one paddler foiler did a downwinder from Home Valley."
So....apparently there were a few people in the river today...... |
