Wicked fun foiling with the local legion of foil soldiers.
Barnes, Stringy, Devine, Gman and I had some fun out in the Spring Sun!
Looking forward to more new recruits as the season pushes on and the reign of Liquid Force and Stringy Foils continue to become more available week by week via Hood River very own kitefoil shop.

FOILicious!
I'll just start calling this hard charging, ever-growing, water and wind hungary pack of foiler soldiers the "blue berets".
Nice work getting in a Spring day in on the last few days of winter on the official calendar.
Looks like pretty light wind...what sized kites and wind speeds?

The foils don't need much wind, but the i-kite ES meter showed pretty steady mid to upper teens all afternoon.

Hey, don't forget Matt and John ! They were foiling fools! Even I had a few " on the foil" moments! Beautiful day. The sensor may have been reading mid teens but there were no whitecaps when we were out and all on 10m kites! Amazing how little wind it takes. I hope to be up on the foil like you guys soon. I'm getting there, slowly.

Anybody in HR giving Foiling lessons this year? Want to cut that learning curve a bit. There was a person in LV doing it.

Great Magic Carpet session for sure. Could have been on a 9M. Wind was lighter than the sensor showed. But very steady. We played for hours out there.

I took a lesson in La Ventana from John (Kite the Bay) Van Tesmer (sp?). To be perfectly honest having Stringy or Tekko yelling at me was just as/more effective. "WEIGHT YOUR FRONT FOOOOT!"
If you can arrange going out with any of this crew you should be set. Or... Maybe JoeTheKiter is going to start up a plan for you in the Gorge?
Signed... still struggling but loving this

Yeah, I think the new Event Site sensor (DB1) is reading high. I've noticed a few times where it was reading higher than Swell this spring. Something to keep in mind before you go rushing down there.
