A couple years ago it was nuking SW wind in town (like it is now) we were driving out to Rooster and saw it was whitecapping westerly!
So if you got a hankering, you might try it right now. Its above the sewage outfalls, so your good there... Its balmy outside, 65, and not raining right now, though it probably will rain soon.
I'd hit it if I could! |

checked rooster this afternoon and waited around for about an hour. wind was kinda flukey. i probably would have gone 11m if it weren't for the rain. temp was warm, wind was adequate (white caps for about 30 min), but the rain killed it.
so not sure if SOUTH WIND IN PDX = GOOD WIND AT ROOSTER.
maybe STRONG SOUTH WIND IN PDX + NO RAIN = MAYBE WORTH CHECKING OUT ROOSTER... if have nothing else better to do. |

I think 7-10am this morning would have been the golden time... at least from what I could see in downtown there was tons of wind but little rain... then after 10 the rain set in hard.
oh well, not much I can do other than sit in my cube. |
